Sneak Peek

Today we had a neat surprise! A good friend of mine, a dental hygienest whom I work with, has a sister who is an ultrasound technician... Annnnd well she pulled some strings and got us an early look at our growing little baby. What an incredible experience! This one was a freebie and a cheatie since usually you have your first ultrasound around 18 weeks. Well according to my calculations I was only 14 weeks as of last Saturday. Now we mainly got this done so that we could prove to everyone that I am NOT having twins... Im just carrying a bit of extra weight :) But to our surprise I am actually 2 weeks ahead of what I had originally thought. So I am just 4 months.. not fat. Oh and yes... there is only one baby in there. However he does have a head big enough for two! I guess it runs in the family..we all know who Im talking about... Sorry Ed :) We'll have the cutest bobble-headed babies ever. Oh and one more thing... she was pretty sure it is a boy, much to the joy of his father.. and I must admit Im quite excited about it as well. We go back for another look in about 3 weeks and we will know offically then. So he's happy and healthy and so are his parents. I did get a bunch of pictures that she sent home with us but I dont know how I will get them onto here. If anyone has any tips.. please help me out. You cant see a whole lot of detail... perhaps I will just wait until we get the next ones in three weeks. Anyways.. we just thought we would let everyone know... and announce to all his family and friends just how well he's doing, and that he will most likely be arriving two weeks prior to his original date of November 17th. Can't wait!
