Whew! What a week. My poor baby boy has been sick since Friday and I'm exhausted. A big thanks to my Mom who came in twice to help out with Noah and let us new parents get some sleep. Tough business being a Mommy. Oh well, sleep is for the weak. Atleast that's what I try to tell myself when Im walking around the aparment like a zombie stumbling over things because I can no longer see out of my puffy, red-ringed eyes. Ha. No really, it's not that bad. He's been doing really well the last few days and is getting back to his old self. We made a BIG breakthrough last night and put him in his bed right after he had eaten at 10:00 and he fell asleep on his own! WOO HOO. To most of you this may not be a big deal.... but here... its monumental. With his Colic he would absolutely not go to sleep unless he was rocked and shushed for atleast 2 hours before we layed him down. (We could be very manipulated parents.. but hey, he's cute and we're first timers, I think we're aloud some mistakes) Needless to say he did amazingly well and was asleep before I was out of the room. I'm trying to get him into a routine and praying that last night was not just a one time thing. He's really becoming a fun little baby. I love when he wakes up and is all smiles for everyone. I was looking at some of his very first pictures and so wanted him to be small like that again, but then instantly remebered the sleepless nights and feedings every 30 seconds and came to my senses. I love my big boy.
I couldn't imagine them being more like eachother, aside from Noah's white skin...
Their favorite past time
And here is my baby boy all grown up...
At 3 months you:
- STILL hate your tummy time but apparently children who do not learn this skill will have numerous problems in their childhood and even into their adult lives.. right Mom? :) Kidding, we love you Grandma Prepchuk.
- can grab your toys, but get frustrated easily when they are too big to fit in your mouth, which... well they all are. Sorry Son.
- have replaced your 'hate' of car rides, with your 'love' of them.
- prefer your Mom and Dad, and are starting to make strange with family members.
- have completely weaned yourself off of your soother (yeah!)
- have discovered Lola and Diesel and think they're the most interesting toys ever.
- love both showers and baths
- are starting to get some natural red hi lights in your hair.... sorry, that's from my side.
- think you are a big boy and would rather stand with some help than lay on the floor with some toys.
- are the best thing that ever happend in our family :)
Love you Bubba!

Oh my goodness he is so chubby in that picture!! And you didn't get that scrapbook yet? Jeesh, I mailed it months ago... I'll have to have a talk with that darn mail man. I think he kept it for himself it was so cute!
He looks great with all that chub... I'm kinda partial to chubby babies ;) Noah and Lena must have some kind of special link, because she's been a little sick this past week too... hmmm, only my mom isn't here to let me get some sleep... boo hoo!
And I'm curious to know what exactly is involved with this "tummy time" that he seems to dislike so much?
Ummmmm....maybe we need to sit down and clear something up here. You see, Noah has NEVER nor will he EVER play strange with his Auntie Janay....he just loves me too much. Thanks.
