my boy

So most of you know my handsome little dude, Noah. If you frequent this blog, there's no way you can get away from him. He is my life and so he is the center of this blog. (Plus I think he's just about the neatest thing since sliced bread, and kinda cute too)
Well I've compiled a few photos to let you peek into the complicated life of a 7 month old baby boy, and allow you to get to know my son a smidge more. This particular photo montage consists mainly of his 'likes' at this monumental stage in his life which has just barely begun...

# 1. Let's just start off with the most obvious, Food. If you have seen pictures of my boy, you know food is his friend. His very best friend. I would even go as far as to say they are inseparable. There is nothing he has tried that he does not like. I even let him suck on a lemon, thinking he would surely be turned off of all lemon flavored foods for life. He thought it was incredible, and I gave up trying to find something, anything that he wouldn't like to eat.

Yummm, Smoothies

Yummm, Popsicles

#2. After he eats all that food, he likes to puke it up. No, he doesn't have bulimia. But I do wonder about his motives sometimes, as he always does it when he's with his Daddy or Auntie Janay. Hmmmm, interesting.

( he also likes to unbutton his shirt and pose. I wonder who gets that from?? (coughEDcough) All he needs is a little chest hair to complete the look and we could make millions. )

#3. He sometimes likes to sit with Mommy on the floor and play with toys. I say sometimes because he would much rather be held by Mommy all day long. Pffft, doesn't he know I have more important things to do?? Like check my facebook/blogs/email, and watch my daily soaps??
Kidding, kidding. I love our play time. And I can DVR my soaps anyways...

#4. He most definitely likes to play with Daddy after his bath. I get it, Daddy represents all that is fun and spontaneous and exciting. I am the epitome of all that is serious in life. Diaper changes, nap time, routine basically. It's not a fun job, but some body's got to do it.

#5.Ooops, how did this get in here? This is more of a 'dislike' than a 'like' Oh well, we'll just go with it. As you can see, he really really dislikes it when I leave the room without his permission, or worse, without taking him along. I know, I know, how dare I.

#6. He also likes to copy his Dad in whatever he does. Poor little guy, somebody should tell him that those things he's stickin in his mouth are not his fingers.

#7. He likes to be a fashion feau paux and pair dark knee high church socks with a white onesie. What a cutie. He thought we were laughing with him, not at him. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it though. He's a bit of a free spirit.

#8. And finally he likes, no scratch that, he loves to nap with his favorite guy in the whole wide world. And actually, so do I. There's nothing sweeter than seeing my two boys in perfect peace and quiet, which... lets be honest... is not something that we get a whole lot around here :) and I wouldn't have it any other way.

P.S. For my Mom: No, I don't really watch soaps. You raised me right.... I merely put it in for entertainment value :) Love you!

Your mom was agast at your soap opera comment. Her initial reaction was ... she wastes her time watching soap operas when she could be spending precious time with that little boy!! She was however apologetic as she read on though.Great pictures of a great little boy!! we love him to bits.
